School Council

School Council

The purpose of the School Council is to ensure that the school provides the highest possible quality of education for its students. This involves setting the strategic direction of the school, monitoring and evaluating its performance, and ensuring effective use of resources. The School Council works closely with the principal to support the school's leadership and management, approve the school budget, and oversee the implementation of policies and procedures. Additionally, the School Council acts as a critical friend, providing constructive feedback and support to promote continuous improvement and high standards of learning and achievement.

 

The School Council is broadly constituted and includes three independent members, one elected parent member, one appointed PTA representative, two elected teacher representatives, one elected non-teaching staff representative, the Chief Executive Officer (ex officio) and the Principal (ex officio).
