At JCSRS, we believe in the power of routines and build them into our student's daily life. From predictable day schedules to morning registration routines, how we exit the playground, and how lessons are organised, our staff help students create a sense of safety and predictability to create strong foundations for learning.
A normal school day starts at 8.45 am with a morning registration and includes five learning blocks, a morning break time and lunch. All students have a playtime break before or after lunch. The school for all students finishes at 2.45 pm.
On alternate Friday afternoons, students either attend the whole school assembly or participate in Enrichment activities. Assembly is a great opportunity to celebrate diversity in our community and share student learning. Enrichment, our staff offer students the opportunity to join different clubs based on their interests and passions.
