At Jockey Club Sarah Roe School, we recognise that learning doesn't just happen in the classroom. We offer a range of additional school activities that enrich our students' learning experiences and help them develop into well-rounded individuals. These activities not only enhance our curriculum, but also promote a sense of community and belonging among our students, staff, and families.

Activities and Events
Our school hosts a variety of events, including Sports Day, the Christmas Show, Lunar New Year celebrations, and Art Exhibitions, providing students with valuable opportunities to learn and grow. These community events foster togetherness, and we also welcome visitors, such as therapy dogs and performers, who share their knowledge and expertise with our students.
We understand the importance of off-site trips and how they can enhance the learning experiences of students. We want our students to feel connected to the community and have opportunities that will broaden their knowledge and skills beyond the classroom. Our carefully planned excursions prioritise safety and inclusivity, while partnerships with external providers enrich learning and ensure all students have access to new experiences.

At JCSRS we recognise the importance of our student's engagement with students from other schools. We value and welcome every community member, fostering a culture of inclusion. Throughout the year we have a range of social and curriculum activities planned with other ESF schools like Sports Days, cross-school sports competitions, reading buddies, CAS volunteers supporting students at JCSRS, and ESF wide community events. |
Our after school Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) are available throughout the year and are led by both our teachers and external providers. These activities include a range of sports such as football, rugby, and swimming lessons, as well as arts and crafts and e-sport clubs.
